The custom content component is the most flexible component. It provides access to a WYSIWYG editor where you can lightly format text as bold and italic, create different heading levels, create lists and link text. Most other components do not allow for formatting text in this way.
Unlike card groups, which are used to group several pieces of related but distinctly separate pieces of content, custom content should be used to display continuous content. For example, multiple paragraphs about the same topic or content that must be read in a specific order to make sense.
